This Phoenix Star dab rig is a clean, function-first piece built around a fixed downstem design and a wide, stable base. Rather than using recycler paths or stacked chambers, this rig focuses on straightforward diffusion, predictable airflow, and visual glass detail.
Vapour enters through the joint and travels directly into the fixed internal downstem, where it meets the water for initial diffusion. This single-stage setup keeps airflow open and consistent, avoiding the restriction or turbulence often found in more complex rigs. The result is a smooth, controlled inhale that works well for low-to-medium temperature dabs.
The body features encased wig-wag glasswork running through the central chamber, made using silver fume glass. Silver fume reacts to heat and light, giving the piece depth and a soft, shifting tone rather than a flat colour. While the rig may appear yellow in photos or under certain lighting, the real-life appearance is more subtle and iridescent, with colour that can change slightly over time with use.
